Versus Trainings (vol.1)

Diversity Training: Understanding Group Relations

What do we encounter in our daily lives? What conflicts do we experience and with whom? Having a disagreement may negatively affect both our well-being and our work life. 


There may be issues that we are unaware of or that we refrain from asking. 


. Who are we? What are the values and norms of our identity? 


. What kind of illusion do our cognitive biases create? 


. What is our equality perception? 


. How do we define humanity? 


. Do we ever feel nostalgic or a sense of competition? 


To what extent these issues hinder our embracement of diversity? 


The Diversity Training offered by SoCreateS aims to assist participants adress these questions in relation to Social Psychology literature and suggest solutions in the light of academic findings.

  • The aim of the Diversity Training is to examine the underlying factors that promote diversity, equality and inclusion based on the intergroup relations literature.


  • Thus, the Diversity Training offered by SoCreateS will contribute to the development of more positive intergroup relations in the work life towards people with various group identities based on disabilitis, gender or cultural differences.

  • Participants will gain a new perspective on intergroup relations by being facilitated to in-depth discussions and investigations about their own positive and/or negative attitudes.

  • By the end of the training, participants will have a better understanding of the why and how of their attitudes towards people they view as different from themselves, thus paving the way for more positive and inclusive attitudes.


  • Meanwile, the Diversity Training offered by SoCreateS, unlike other trainings, was developed based on the literature on intergroup relations.

  • Examining and resolving issues that prevent embracing diversity


  • Measurement and awareness of how much the participants have adopted the concepts covered during the training


  • Becoming aware of the underlying factors for attitudes and/or behaviors towards those who are perceived as different from ourselves


  • Focusing on both positive and negative attitudes to embrace diversity

  • The training will take place on Wednesday, January 10th, 2024 and January 17th, 2024.


  • The training lasts 1 day in total and takes place online. 


  • At the end of the training, participants will be given a Diversity Training participation certificate.


  • 5% of the income from the training is donated to the Hope Foundation for Children with Cancer (KAÇUV).

Aesthethic Thinking Training

Training on Cognitive Biases that Halt Right Decisions

Imagine that you are at a negotiation table or you are about to make a life-changing decision. Also, think about people around you, what inferences do you make and what decisions do you reach about them? 


Are you in full control of your decisions? 

Focusing illusion, availability bias, omission neglect, law of small numbers and many more...


In a day, our minds create dozens of cognitive biases without us realizing them.  Although some cognitive biases are of use to us, some prevent us from making right decisions. 


After getting the Aesthethic Thinking Training we become more aware of our cognitive biases by keeping an aesthethic distance (an ideal distance) to our perceptions. In addition we learn how to have a control over our cognitive biases with the Aesthethic Thinking Tool. 


Hence, we gain the abiltiy to think independently from our little-known cognitive biases, which we are frequently influence by. 


*In order to increase the impact of the training follow-up meetings can optionally be held in the first and third months after the training.

  • At the end of the training, participants will be given a certificate of participation in the Cognitive Biases that Halt Right  Decisions Training.
