What is SoCreateS? What is not?

SoCreates is a social entrepreneurship which aims to implement social psychology theories into social issues. 

SoCreateS, which stands for Social Psychology Creates for Society, adopts the motto of Social Psychology for Society. Because,

• Social Psychology not only investigates what and why people feel, think and do but also helps us to better understand the social world we live in and most importantly ourselves. For this reason, as SoCreateS, we believe that social psychology can create solutions for societal problems and can improve relations at the intergroup level.
• SoCrateS aims to share its profit in a way that will benefit the society. For this purpose, SoCreateS shares the profit as food and drink or as support for child’s disease for the Child Protection Agency.

SoCreateS is not a competitive platform.

• It aims to increase the number of organizations with similar goals and also to cooperate with these organizations. For SoCreateS, success does not mean making profit.
• Success means sharing the profit with people who need it and not sacrificing from its principles for the sake of making profit. SoCreateS is not a closed platform in itself.
• It is open to cooperating with academics from different disciplines, who aim to strengthen social relations and who have academic-based project ideas.
